Le Concorde
"Someone said, ‘One failed marriage and one million books read,’ but the story goes like this: Multi-instrumentalist, Stephen Becker began new recordings in 2006 after fleeing academe with an M.A. and Ph.D. from Northwestern, abandoning a failed 11-year marriage, and releasing the starkly autobiographical 'Universe & Villa' in 2005 on March Records.

Shortly after the release of “Universe & Villa,” Becker sought out his teenage musical hero, David Gamson of Scritti Politti and found him living in LA. The two struck up a friendship and embarked on a series of new recordings with Becker shuttling between Chicago and Los Angeles. Featuring Becker's acoustic guitar and intimate vocals blended with an explosion of color from Gamson's vast palette of vintage synths, 'Suite' will be released Nov. 6. The two have already begun envisioning an epic follow up."

"This is pop in the best sense of the word." The Onion

The Scotland Yard Gospel Choir
won’t be at our show, but two of their members will be there as a 90’s cover band!  The Scotland Yard Gospel Choir is awesome and we’re grateful to have some of them at our Party!  SYGC is a chambery folky punky band based in Chicago. They've played with The Violent Femmes and The Arcade Fire. They've been glowingly praised in Billboard and Time Out NY. Elia's songs from our first album have been featured on The OC, in a Michael Rappaport film, and in a play at Second City.

"A hug for the downtrodden..." Spin.com

"Street corner stories... dolled up style and wise-guy sensibility... [Elia is] a taleteller in the David Johansen mode." Paste Magazine

Mark Minelli
After spending the last eighteen years in Fairfield, OH (just north of Cincinnati) Mark was slightly overwhelmed by the grandeur of the Windy City. However, it would be here that he would continue to chase his ever elusive dream of being a professional musician.  His career has snowballed to include festival appearances, shows with national acts, and relationships that will take him far and wide. His new album "¡Grenade, Grenade! (Everybody Get Down)" promises to be his best to date. From crowd pleasing tracks like "lovin' disease" to hip shaking beats like "john" the album will move you and make you move. Mark Minelli's passion and love for the art of music will make him impossible to miss in the coming years.

"Mark is a new breed of folk singer, infusing his acoustic stylings at times with Spanish and Classical rhythms while maintaining the realism associated with music." Visions and Revisions
